As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dynamic Sales and Marketing Director to spearhead our efforts in driving sustainable growth, building a strong Uzin Utz multi brand presence, and leading high-performing teams.

The Role:

As Sales and Marketing Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s future. Your primary focus will be on developing and implementing comprehensive strategies across sales, marketing, technical services, and customer support. Key responsibilities include:

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute growth-oriented strategies targeting Distribution Sales, architects, designers, and end customers in the retail, contract, and industrial flooring sectors.
• Brand Building: Drive brand awareness through innovative marketing campaigns, product launches, and comprehensive marketing plans.
• Team Leadership: Oversee and inspire cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration across our sales, marketing, customer service, and technical support departments.
• Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research to establish data-driven decision-making, adapt strategies, and maintain a competitive edge.
• Budget Oversight: Prepare and manage sales and marketing budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation and monitoring expenditure against objectives.
• Customer Engagement: Enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty through strategic relationship management and cutting-edge customer training programs.
• Business Development: Identify new market opportunities and foster partnerships with distributors, architects, and designers to strengthen our market position.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales:

• Lead and manage the Distribution Sales team to achieve revenue growth through established and emerging channels.
• Develop targeted strategies for engaging retailers, contractors, and industrial flooring customers.
• Monitor sales performance, analyse trends, and make informed adjustments to maximise results.

Marketing:

• Design and execute marketing strategies across digital and traditional platforms.
• Develop campaigns tailored to key stakeholders, including architects and end customers.
• Plan impactful product launches and events, ensuring alignment with our business objectives.

Customer Service:

• Oversee customer service operations to deliver exceptional support and maintain high satisfaction levels.
• Promote a proactive approach to internal sales, upselling, and cross-selling.

Training:

• Ensure the Uzin Utz Campus provides industry-leading training programs for distributors, architects, and end customers.
• Collaborate with technical teams to deliver field training and support.

Business Development:

• Build and maintain relationships with key clients and strategic partners.
• Leverage tools like the National Building Specification (NBS) to position the company as a trusted industry leader.

What We’re Looking For:

We are seeking a visionary leader with a proven track record in sales and marketing leadership roles. The ideal candidate will bring:

• Experience: 5–10 years of senior-level experience in sales, marketing, or business development, preferably within the construction or flooring industries.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field (MBA preferred).
• Skills:
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, digital marketing, and data analytics.
  • Excellent in written and verbal communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Results-oriented approach with a focus on customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Other Requirements:
  • Located in the Midlands with a full driving licence.
  • Flexibility to travel nationally and internationally.
