Comfort floor application with Arturo
WHAT WILL I LEARN?
This 2-day practical training course, delivered in partnership with Arturo, is designed for flooring professionals who want to develop specialist skills in the installation of Arturo Comfort Floor systems. The course focuses on correct substrate preparation, system build-ups, mixing and application techniques, and achieving high-quality decorative and functional finishes suitable for commercial environments. Combining classroom-based theory with extensive hands-on training, participants will gain a thorough understanding of Comfort Floor system components, application methods, and finishing techniques in line with Arturo manufacturer specifications and industry best practice.
Day 1:
- Sub-floors suitable for resin only. Identification/preparation (promotion of Wolff machinery) / Moisture testing and moisture mitigation (DPM) – Classroom and moisture machine demos
- Sustainable credentials, low emission, factory overview, Vegetable oils, recycled element in Mistral etc. - Classroom
- Epoxy and cementitious repair mortars – classroom and practical
- Smoothing and levelling compounds suitable for Resin only (UZIN NC112 Turbo & NC770) Priming and sand blind – classroom and practical
- Primers & DPM (EP6700/EP6600/EP6200/PU6000) mesh reinforcement - classroom and practical
- PU Comfort Floors – Uni/Beton/Flake/Design options with different colours – classroom and practical
Day 2:
- PU3320 coating for non UV stable comfort floors – classroom and practical
- Decorative comfort floors (flakes, designs with different colours)
- Sealers, mat and satin application – classroom and practical
